EAST BEACH BRIDGE LOSSIEMOUTH
HELP US SAVE OUR BRIDGE

In light of the recent decision to close the East Beach bridge on health and safety grounds, the Lossiemouth Community Development Trust, the Lossiemouth Community Council and the Lossiemouth Business Association invite the community to a public meeting at Lossiemouth Town Hall, this Wednesday, 31st July at 7pm.  Doors open at 6.30pm. What is the current situation and what the options are to reinstate access to East Beach?
Everyone welcome.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • The East Beach Bridge is over 100 years old – first built 1908 at the Esplanade, it was moved to its current position in 1918.
  • The bridge is falling into disrepair and potentially facing closure.
  • If that happens there would be no safe access to the East Beach.

The Lossiemouth Community Development Trust are seeking funding to repair or replace the bridge before it’s too late!
